how can I Learn Beauty Online?
Ihob uses very detailed in-depth practical videos for online learning. When it comes to practical assessments, we have developed a method that requires you to come into our college to be assessed on your final assessment only……. Meaning there is minimal classroom attendance time. With continuous support from our lecturers, you will be required to submit a progress report ensure your skill is 100%.
Just like traditional school there is need for continuous professional support from our lecturers through online assignments ….
After completing the course work and you prove to be competent you are required to submit a portfolio of evidence in picture format or video as part of your progress report.
What is important is you practise at home in your self-paced time and this will make you an exceptional student
Are all Ihob courses only delivered online
Yes all Ihob courses are delivered online however some courses have a minimum practical requirements which have to be facilitated and assessed by Ihob lecturers. This then requires classroom attendance for a few days or in other cases practical lessons can be done virtually. That’s why we say Ihob provides a fun learning and travel opportunity for those outside south Africa. You can learn our courses online and when you visit south Africa you come in for your practical assessments
Are there practical assessments in These courses
Yes there are but only for courses which have mandatory practical assessments and these practical assessments are done at the end of each course in south Africa or virtually online through Live virtual facilitation e.g. zoom
Is it possible to fail Ihob courses
Ihob does not use a grading system with all Ihob qualifications, however there is a minimum practical competence that is required for you to earn your certificate. Ihob team ensures that No student fails rather we focus more on ensuring every student is skilled. We ensure your beauty passion is built on a solid foundation
Rosasa means Representative of Spa’s and Saloons in Africa. It is A professional board for the African beauty industry which is focused on helping small spa and saloons in all African countries to be professional and build a competitive African Beauty industry. Rosasa gives professional start ups to saloons and it the beauty regulating board in Africa that gives free Training to the African girl child that is deserving an opportunity. Rosasa has various membership categories and benefits

Do I need products for the courses
Yes you need products. For all practical’s you must purchase your osn kit to practise with, All coyrsd5prices do not include a kit. We do have kits in store that can be purchased and sent to you. Inquire for prices
Are Ihob courses Delivered in blended learning mode
Yes. Ihob infuses both online and classroom attendance
With Ihob blended learning mode you complete all Theory work online , this includes theoretical assessments, assignments, project submission ,
Only at the end of each course will you be required to attend practical classes for practise and practical assessments.
Yes Ihob has masterclasses which can be arranged for groups or individuals. These are practical classes that are compressed into mini courses delivered in a short time period.
